ABOUT ME

We started dating in October of 2007 & moved in together two years later. We live and love in Chicago. We pet a rabbit named Mickey who lives in our kitchen.

We're laid back, easy going, friendly and considerate.

PHILOSOPHY

"Live and Let Live" has always seemed a perfectly succinct and logical life philosophy. If only everyone subscribed to it.

Danielle -- Movies: Pretty much anything by Martin Scorsese, Judd Apatow (sometimes bad comedies are just so good) & Pixar. Music: Indie folk & rock (M Ward, Camera Obscura, AA Bondy, Walkmen, MGMT) & a bit o' blues. Books: She's Come Undone, Catcher in the Rye, Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Danielle -- The funeral procession for my opa in Rutung, a tiny village on Ambon in Indonesia. A band (mostly barefoot & mostly my blood relatives) played homemade pan flutes.

Will -- Grant Park, Election Night 2008. The closest I've ever felt to being in one of those old "I'd like to buy the world a Coke" commercials. It felt really good to be an American that night. Fleeting, sure, but that night it was thrilling. Also, seeing Fugazi at an outdoor show at their (I think) last gig at Fort Reno in Washington, DC as a thunderstorm rolled in behind them. Amazing.
