CURRENT MISSION

From world peace I changed to internal peace as a mission, it was a bit ambitious :) It turns out to touch the world anyways. I want to dance life, enjoy it in all it senses and groovyness and develop a shared inspiring freedom, a welcoming world.

ABOUT ME

I like challenges in life. Now I am in a new one, or well, I am continuously since I do not really grasp the functioning of this society that well, somehow the money part is a bit of a mysterious territory. I go and look for places to dance, to learn to dance and to create theatre/dance shows. Outside, in all kind of places, with live musicians, dance, smells, theatre. And so, next to that I will figure out somehow to eat and sleep, working in my little bar in Montmartre, Paris with all it's interesting, mad locals. Inviting people in my appartment there, to enjoy life togehter.

PHILOSOPHY

I think, looking backwards, that we need to dream big and believe in it, it will become truth. There's not a way to go, only the walking itself. Yesterday doesn't hold the truth or garantees for tomorrow, it only defines were we are right now and why. If you can see you can be tomorrow what you desire to be, not stuck to the past, you'll be fearless. We came without anything, leave without anything, In between is life, how we learn to connect to others and the world around. There's nothing to lose, we can only desire to become, and in this desire is life. Everything around us is made by nature and people, like you, no different, so we are a part, can change it, create the world we want to live in. It can be to create the show I never saw and want to see, but it holds for everything!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have none, always done however the same thing in a random way. I host continuously people in Paris in my cosy place and have been travelling and staying with people all over Europe. In the same cool spirit!

I am interested in Dancing: Gaga, Flamenco, African Dance, Hip Hop, Break Dance, Acrobatics. I am interested in Budhism, or more, a generous living with compassion. I am interested in Africa and it's new mouvements, and energetic people. I am interested in all constructive and creative ideas for Sustainable Development, new ways to live and grow in this world. People that are creative but practical entrepeneurs as well.. I am interested what's going on right now in this crazy world, what do people desire and create in Urban places as well as in nature.

I love music,oh I do! Groovy African soul and rhythms Aretha franklin, Eric Bibb, Seeed, Rokia Traore, Otis Redding,Nina simone... good Reggae, Jimmy Hendrix, the Black Roots... But also Flamenco, Ojos de Brujo, Chambao, jose Merce... World Music: Indian tabla music, Balkan Beats... Dancing: Santana, Hip Hop music, Metronomy, Weird theatrical stuff: Dogtroep, Kroke Sounds of the Vanishing world, Hadouk Trio. Well I think this eclectic mess may be recognizable, we are all so bizar creatures and music reflects a lot we cannot hide from... :)

Ladakh, the uppermost part of India, among the Himalaya Mountains. If there's is one place on earth that struck me and I will never forget, it's this place on the top of the world, just under the sky... :) Something not to explain, but to experience. Certainly an unique place that learned me a lot. And of course the hiking in Southern Europe with my dog and all the people I met then, the places we went.

Учу, учусь, делюсь опытом и информацией

Well, that's not easy. At least there's a lot I want to learn! I can teach languages (Dutch, English, German a bit, Spanish, Italian, Portugese, French), some yoga/dance/acrobatics, some juggling, some fun dancing :)Some adventurous hiking in nature... I would like to learn the djembe or cajon, all kind of dancing (also hiphop, break and capoeira) and adventurous urban survivalling! And of course: surfing and skating! :)
