I love meeting new people and trying new things.
I grew up in Kodiak, a small Alaskan town surrounded by wilderness and wildlife, and I loved every moment of it. I'm excited to venture to new places!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed in Europe in the fall of 2014. I'm not in a position to host anyone at the moment (hopefully soon!) but I'm open to meeting up and hanging out if anyone finds themselves in Kodiak.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only had the best experiences couchsurfing. It's such a great way to meet people and explore new places.

I like being outside, reading books, growing my own food, nature, petting pets, taking photos, exploring new places and meeting new people.

I'm fond of independent films and quirky comedies. A few of my favorite include: Amelie, The Future, BBC's Pride and Prejudice, and Mary and Max.
I don't watch much TV but I'm an avid follower of Veronica Mars, Doctor Who and Sherlock.
I like all sorts of music, especially folk/indie bands and anything I can dance to. Some of my favorite artists include Jhene Aiko, The Head and the Heart, Train, Ray Lamontagne, and Vance Joy.
I've read too many fantastic books to choose a favorite, but I recently I've enjoyed Paper Towns, Catcher in the Rye, 1984, A Game of Thrones, Into the Wild and Let the Great World Spin. I'm always open to book recommendations!
