I’m currently on a trip across the US and cannot host or meet up in Vienna!

Hi there! I'm a freelance cinematographer aka the girl behind the camera.
Whenever I can I try to travel - ever since I can remember I loved to discover new places and meet people from all over the world.
I generally get over excited about the most trivial things and I believe smiling makes you happier. And you'll also almost always find a camera in my hand!
If you want to know more about me just feel free to drop me a line - I always find it hard to write about myself, so I probably left out exactly what you're actually interested in (sorry about that)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If travelling would only mean getting to see places I could just watch a documentary - for me it's more about getting to know the culture and therefore the people behind it. (and taking tons of pictures in the process)
I love to plan ahead and make lists and so on, and in a hostel I'd find dozens of other people doing the exact same thing - and that's totally fine! But meeting locals is still a whole new experience. I mean who could possibly know the area better than them?
I also have to admit that even though I have been to many countries, slept in dorms, barns and one time even in a gift shop, I never tried out couchsurfing before! Don't ask me why, but I am determined to make up for those "lost years" now if you'll have me ;)

1) I could probably listen to Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, Otis Redding and Muddy Waters all day long.

2) Anything that makes me laugh, as well as intriguing movies like The Imitation Game. I can't deny that I'm also a huge Disney fan. Other stuff: Marvel's movies. TV-Series like Elementary, Game of Thrones, Vikings, Orange is the New Black, …

3) I love to read pretty much everything ranging from George R.R. Martin to Jane Austen, Deborah Harkness, Charlaine Harris and Khaled Hosseini.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spontaneous skydiving in New Zealand. Long story short: It was too early to check into the hostel and I had all my stuff with me. Looked up the tourist info for things to do and the guy in front of me told me about a skydiving trip starting in 10 minutes - with 1 available spot left. So of course I took the opportunity, got on a perfectly fine plane, strapped myself to a stranger (all the while my stuff was sitting in some corner of the airport and the hosteldorm was being cleaned) and jumped. Best decision I ever made! Became friends with the instructor and got to jump a few more times during my stay in New Zealand!
