About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live passionately!
ABOUT ME
I'm open-minded, easy-going (but that's subjective), adventurous, flexible, sometimes a bit too rational but always authentic.
PHILOSOPHY
Be the change you want to see in the world. (Gandhi)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I plan on attending meetings in Duisburg and getting to know the people from my area.Anyone who wants to explore Duisburg and the cities around is welcome to contact me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I learned about the Southern culture of the US by surfing in Savannah and Charleston. It was an eye-opening experience. Spotting differences (and similarities) in attitudes and lifestyle was interesting; talking about them was a step towards more cultural awareness and understanding. I loved it!
Interests
I'm interested in people and their stories, cultural diversity, languages and our society.
I like reading, being active, dancing, hanging out with my friends, physical work (not coal mining but renovating or gardening:-)), learning how to play my guitar and cajon, watching good documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
cool: tandem parachute jump
breathtaking: Manta Ray Night Dive in the Pacific
most amazing: I swam with more than 30 dolphins in Hawaii. My friend and I spotted them in the bay, swam towards them (we were the only people there!) and enjoyed their company. It was a thrill!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love food and would love to learn about traditional/regional cooking and to try new recipes. Also, I appreciate anyone who would teach me a tune on the guitar or simply share their knowledge and feelings with me.
