I'm a driver in the fast lane of life always looking where the next journey will take me. I'm married to most adventurous woman alive. I love Jill and Tennessee Football...Go VOLUNTEERS! CouchSurfing has been the greatest traveling experience ever and has helped me experience life from different perspectives. It also introduced me to my wife...For those reading this-IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: CS is not a dating site. I was her backup host when she came to run the Knoxville marathon and we happen to meet for dinner the night before the race. Life has been an amazing roller coaster ride ever since, and I want to keep living it to the fullest. I don't want to ever be so wrapped up in my own little bubble that I miss out on seeing the world and meeting great people. Here's to living the dream. Thank you CouchSurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

Everybody wants to do something different, but we all wind up doing the same thing. There's a 1000 reasons why I shouldn't travel, meet new people, and experience different cultures, but none of them mattered once I decided to do it. I realized they were just excuses.

The traveler is active; he searches strenuously for people, adventure, and an experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes "sight-seeing."

I took a road trip across the country and went CouchSurfing in California for an entire summer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfed on a 2 month long road trip across the country. Places I surfed include: Albuquerque-New Mexico, Las Vegas-Nevada, Oklahoma City-Oklahoma, California (Long Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Cotati, San Diego, and Santa Ana), Atlanta-Georgia, Nashville-Tennessee.

I can appreciate all types of music, but usually something country will bring me down to earth.

I've been skydiving. I CS'ed for 2 months by myself on a road trip from Knoxville to California. And my greatest accomplishment was marrying my wife, Jill on October 1, 2011.
