I am a medical doctor living in Cape Town, South Africa and I like to spend my (limited) vacation time travelling around the world.
I find it really easy to connect with people and get to know them. I believe that every single person in the world has a story to tell and the ability to be extremely fascinating, It's just up to me to not jump to conclusions and assume someone is boring or privileged based on a snap judgement (I know this is a cliché but I really find it to be true).
I love spending time outdoors, doing activities such as rock climbing, hiking, swimming but I can also be tempted to spend days reading books and articles and learning all I can about the world (or just wasting time surfing the internet- I am trying to reduce this!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and stay with friends as I feel that staying with a local in any place gives one a completely different experience of a city or country. I love meeting new people and I think using CS allows me to make more friends all over the world who I can then introduce to Cape Town and South Africa!
I am in love with my own city and country and always love showing friends and people around the city!
