Starting a new life as an au pair, for the second time! Growing up but never letting my inner child go. Seeking for whatever the world has to offer. Learning as I fail. Moving on. Being strong.

I like to think of myself as an old soul in a 24-year-old body. I utterly love deep conversations, learning new things from people, getting to know myself more through it and making friends that last a lifetime.

I'm always trying to come out of my shell, so I'm not very good at describing myself. I believe a person constantly changes with people around them, environment, experiences and circumstances, remaining only what they purely believe in. I only know that kindness, acceptance, patience and strength never leave me, no matter who I may become.

I hate agressieve and non-empathetical people, and I tend to run away from toxic environments pretty quickly.

I enjoy a beer more than I should.

I can be the best listener. And I can also try to challenge your ideas and disagree with everything you say, just for the fun of the conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly go for Megadeth, Dio, SOAD, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, Asking Alexandria, Judas Priest, Metallica (And Justice for All and some other oldies). Then I can jump to k-pop (guilty pleasure), 70'/80' pop music, and to my old Jonas Brothers playlist. I just enjoy it too much to let go 😂

I'm trying to read every book of Stephen King, but I can't say much about "real" writers. I mostly enjoy finding stories in different blogs, from just regular people who have a story to tell.

I wasn't a movie person till my 15's. So many classics are still unknown to me, but I'm trying very hard to catch up. Don't be frustrated if I haven't watched any of the Star Wars movies, or if I only watched Pet Sematary at my 20's. Cope with me.

Leaving my home at 21 to live with complete strangers in Belgium, with only 2 months of planning, and going back home 1 year later, having found a second family there.

Talking is the best (and sometimes the only) way out of and through anything. Be ready to listen. And be ready to speak up. And please: run it up to your brain first; don't just throw up words. Please. The world will thank you.
