Most of the people have a home, the strongest have stretch out their home to the whole world, and the people who are even stronger have no home...
I love Travels, People and Nature :) I m easy going and open to all kind of persons. I like to discover how differently people can eat, think, have fun.., live ! I may film you (with your permission of course), as films are my way to keep a journal and share about my trips..
Carpe diem, always look at the bright side, live each little moment of your life intensely, always try to realize your dreams !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I help people getting a safe place to sleep, I give them advices about what to see in the city, France, or anywhere else I ve been. I sometimes cook for them or with them. I share my experiences and I am very found of listening to theirs :)
I started hosting and being hosted by strangers with couch surfing few years ago, and became kind of addicted to it !! CS is a great community of open minded - nice - funny - generous - adventurous - weird - etc. - people. I love it.
By travelling and meeting people from different countries/cultures/religions i would like to collect as much different ways of considering the world as possible ;)
Music, Movies, and Books
Books lately : George Sand, Balzac, Fernando Pessoa, Oscar Wilde, Georges Orwell, Arthur C. Clarke, Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Marx, Chomsky, Krishnamurti, Amitav Ghosh, Tagore, E. Goffman, Howard Becker, Margaret Mead & Malinowski, Montessori and also travelling stories by Barley, Tesson, Mike Horn etc.
Concerning music I have a kind of obsession with Bob Dylan songs (but I won t bother you no worries). I am also very found of Janis Joplin & Nina Simone. Otherwise I like to listen to all kind of music, I love to go to concerts and discover new artists. I can make you listen to different french artists, old and new ones and also share films I like(am travelling with a hard drive full of music and films)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One day i read a book about Bangladesh. Then i decided to buy plane tickets for Kolkata and quit my job. One month later I was in a Bus on my way for Khulna without knowing anything about Bangladesh (not even that most of the people don t speak english at all there hehe..). At first i was very affraid as everything seemed so strange to me ;), but i met wonderfull people all along my way, they gave me a bed, they gave me food and they introduced me with their families. This was my first real trip ever on my own and that s the best thing i have ever done yet !
