Hi! My name is Nabhan, or Nab for short. I am an Australian, born to Bangladeshi parents. I quit my job back at home in Sept 2014, with a 9 month trip planned from the south most city of the world (Ushuaia, Argentina) with an attempt to get up as far north as possible along the Americas - hopefully to Canada, maybe Alaska! After my trip, I am moving to London, to try and continue my career there.

My favourite thing about travelling is meeting new people. Being a solo traveller, gives me the freedom to make as many friends as i can along my travels. I have met so many people that have told me to use couch surfing to meet nice locals and also make travel buddies. So i thought maybe i will give backpacker hostels a break and give couch surfing a shot.

My main interests when i visit a new city is to see the sights and sceneries, as well try out the local food, and offcourse a few drinks.

I absolutely love music. I listen to almost anything other than heavy metal, with my favourites being indie/alternative rock as well as folk music and some hip hop/house. I go out of my way to go to live shows and festivals. I am heading to SXSW in Austin this year, and also Sasquach festival up near Seattle.
