ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Quan Liu, currently a graduate student at Purdue University graduating in May 2018. Afterwards I am returning to the company that I previously worked at for two years in Fort Worth, TX. I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2014 with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.

I come from China. My friend Nade Kang and I shared the CS account because we used to travel together. Unfortunately Nade transferred to Know College after his first year in TCU, and later to Japan and then Germany. I've taken charge of this account ever since.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I have no house to provide couches for other members because I share an apartment with others! Ever since I became a so-called young professional, I have been using couchsurfing less. However, I hope to make friends through the CS hangouts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mr. Sean Bowman and Mr. Pedro Mendoza were two generous hosts that I met during my trip to Washington DC and Baltimore two years back. Mr. Bowman had tons of interesting stories to tell us and Mr. Mendoza showed us around the city of Baltimore on Christmas Eve. Not to mention couches they provided us. Such travelling experience remains the best in my memory. I used to fear walking alone in a different city but now I enjoying meeting new people and sharing our stories.

Interests

Basketball, tennis, fitness training, travelling and biking etc.

Intermediate level of east coast swing dance!

Beginner/intermediate level of snowboarding.

Watching NBA, NCAA FOOTBALL. Nade and I are big fans of TCU Horned Frog Football!

Walking around Baltimore on Christmas Eve and enjoying the serenity and beauty of the city.
