About Me

Hi, I'm a software engineer working in the gaming industry, and because of that job I've managed to relocate from Argentina to Europe and I'm now looking to travel around it! I'm a nerdy person that loves anime and board/video games, sports (huge soccer fan and I've been training kickboxing for several years), and learning about the world and its history!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've lived in 3 countries and with each new move I've learned a ton. I'm now looking to travel around the world to meet new people and learn about different cultures. I'm quite sociable and very easy to get by with, and I love making new friends/acquaintances wherever I go. I believe you only get to truly know a place when you connect with the people living there. I think couch surfing is by far THE best way to accomplish this, and that's why I joined as soon as I learned about it :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite bands include Coldplay, Los Piojos, Deep Purple, Gorillaz, Daft Punk, and Phil Collins. That being said, I tend to choose more song-by-song than listening to specific artists.

As for movies, I've lately been watching mostly action and/or comedy movies, both modern and classics (I love Tarantino for instance). Marvel Universe is a staple on my watch list, but I also enjoy good thriller/suspense movies (e.g. I tell everyone they must watch Memento).

As for books, either fantasy (LOTR, Harry Potter, CS Lewis) or Productivity books (I'm a bit of a fanboy of Chris Bailey and James Clear)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a kid, I accidentally chopped off 3 fingers of my left hand. The medics stitched them back and said there was a slight chance they could keep growing and being functional, but I had to train them. That's why I started playing Piano at the age of 5, which was my first profession between the ages of 19 and 24!

I then dropped everything to self-teach myself programming specifically to work on video games (my other passion besides music). Since then I've realized one of my childhood dreams of working on a blockbuster title!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a bit geeky, so as a starting point, I tend to choose locations with theme parks of my interest or historical locations with super interesting background history, but I then must spend at least a day walking around and getting to know the actual place I'm visiting.

Countries I’ve Visited
