Hi! My name is Nadya and I am from Russia.
Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to travel the world. However, at that particular time my family could not really afford to travel that’s why I didn’t leave the country untill I turned 15 yo.
That’s when the adventure began! The first country I went to was the USA and I stay there for a whole academic year with a loving and carrying American family. I was an exchange student with a full scholarship .That was one of the best time of my life. I lived in Colorado and my family there took me to see Arizona and New Mexico.
After living abroad,enjoying the culture and making new friends I realized that I want to travel more. So I left my hometown Arkhangelsk to live and study in St.Petersburg (my favorite Russian city btw).

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Recently, Artem (my husband) and I hosted Jack who is an American studying in St. Petersburg. He visited us in Arkhangelsk just for 2,5 days and it was so much fun talking to him,sharing our meals and exploring the city that I thought why not to do the same with the locals in the other countries. We as locals want to show how beautiful our city is and we know which places to show to fall in love with it. Also we’ve noticed that it is much more fun to explore a new place when you have someone who can at least give you some good recommendations or spend a little time with you.
