About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore Halifax/Nova Scotia and conquer the cold

ABOUT ME

My name is Nadia. I like it when people mishear my name as Narnia.

I spent my childhood growing up in different places (diplobrat). I was a pretty shy and sensitive kid so changing schools and making new friends was a challenge, but every place had a distinctive feeling, and every feeling became familiar.

I've been travelling since March 2013. This year has reminded me of our potential to be in a constant state of growth and change for the better. I believe it's important to challenge yourself and to seek things out, no matter where you are.

Every place has something to offer, particularly when you offer something in return.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm on the couch at the moment and not settled in my own place so I can't offer anywhere to sleep, but I'd love to meet up, have a hot drink and hang out! We can explore ths maritime winterland together (it's bloody cold here).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Both my couchsurfing experiences so far have been in South America and both have been BRILLIANT.

I gain so much from getting to know and connect with other people and I love the rare opportunity of the couchsurfing dynamic and exchange.

Interests

People/all animals, cooking, vegetables, yoga, hiking, camping, illustration, film, animation, live music, art, literature, comics, design, philosophy, politics, magic etc.
