Hey, my name is Nadija. I am from the beautiful country Austria and I love to travel, meet people from all over the world and enjoy different cultures. I'm about to finish my graduate program in health management in tourism. During this study I did a semester abroud in Stevens Point, WI, USA in 2015 and another one in Taipei, Taiwan in 2017. I also did an internship in switzerland in 2009 and an internship in Stevens Point in 2018. Point is a second home for me :)
I love animals and therefore I'm on a vegan diet for 2 years now. Sometimes it is difficult to travel with a vegan diet, but it is manageable.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because in my opinion it is much more fun to get in contact with locals or other travelers. They can give you inside tips about the city, country and culture you would never find in a guide and you can share your own experience. Additionally, you could gain a new friend out of that and having international friends is just awesome! In my opinion, those people are much more open minded and don't judge you based on where you are from. Let's be honest, another aspect is the money. Staying in hotels can be very expensive.

Due to my master's degree I have a lot of knowledge about sports, nutrition, tourism, travelling, etc. and wouldn't mind helping you with stuff like that. I am also a good cook (learned it in high school for 4 years with an exam at the end) and can cook traditional food from austria or other cuisines.
