Overview
About Me
I grew up in the easternmost corner of the U.S. (tucked between the Atlantic coast and the Canadian border), then went to college and lived around Boston for a few years. At age 25, I quit my job in arts fundraising and ended up spending the next five wonderful years wandering around Australia and New Zealand -- working in hospitality, volunteering in intentional communities, camping, hiking and swimming as much as I could. For the past year, I've been drawn back toward my rural hometown to help with elder care and manage the commercial kitchen at a fascinating organic saltwater farm, while dreaming of bringing interesting travelers and their ideas to this beautiful, remote part of the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My ideal living situation is in community -- Couchsurfing has allowed me to foster that around the world! I also use Workaway and various Facebook groups to meet community-minded people while traveling. It's wonderful to travel to interesting places but it's all about the interesting people you can meet there!
