I've been biketouring since January 2024, mainly through Africa (and some months in Europe).
I love this way of traveling with the bicycle as I get to know a lot of local places, get easily in touch with locals, learn more about their culture and country.

This is actually my first bikepacking trip, but it probably won't be the last. Apart from that I like to be in the nature, cook, go hiking. I like music and dancing.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

Of course I like to meet new people from all over the world, like probably everyone on couchsurfing. I like the idea of sharing each others culture, cook together or have a drink and a nice chat. I already used couchsurfing a few years ago when I lived in Mainz, but don't have the account anymore. I used to host at least 20-25 different people/ couples/ groups in my appartment then, and couchsurfed two times at very nice places in Portugal. I learnt a lot from all the people I met and I'd like to continue to host people in my appartment now.

My favourite kind of music is Rock (System of a down, Rise against, A day to remember,...), but I also like to listen to Jack Johnson, any kind of spanish music or the radio from time to time.
My favourite movie definitely is the Lord of the Rings. I love to watch series like The Big Bang Theory, Orange is the new black, How to get away with murder, Game of Thrones, Prison break,...

There are several things:
A few years ago I lived in Brazil for a couple of months to do an internship at a university and traveling. It was my first longer trip abroad and I really enjoyed the experience to be completely on my own and I had to get to know new people.
In 2016 I traveled to Peru for three weeks and the greatest thing was to hike the rainbow mountain, the most beautiful mountain landscape I've seen so far. If you're ever in Peru, you should go there.

I absolutely love food and cooking new dishes. I enjoy cooking alone, but also together with others, and I always like to learn new dishes, in case you want to show me. I like to exchange languages, so if you speak spanish, it would be great to practice it some more. In exchange I can teach you german, if you want to ;) If I have time on the weekends I can show you around in Mannheim, or during the week we could just have a drink somewhere in the evening.
