关于我
Note: I opened the app a couple of years ago, but had never surfed until March 2022. Having had a great experience, I decided to be more active in both hosting and traveling from now on. Be free to contact me even though there are no references to prove how cool it can be. :)
Me, me, me:
I am a Serbian visual artist, currently living and studying Public Art and New Artistic Strategies at Bauhaus Uni in Germany. Since ever, I am all the time craving new adventures and crying for some relaxation, trying to balance between these two in my everyday life. Moreover, I am a global citizen, a passionate camper, a child, and an art researcher/practitioner. I work with children a lot, which somehow always comes to me as a part-time job. My art practice intertwines fine arts, theater, and urban approaches while consuming everyday life. Humour and productive complaining are my sports of choice. I was told that both are great attributes of Serbs, so I guess I am confirming it. :)
Germany:
I came to Weimar, Germany in November 2020 (middle of Corona crisis) and plan to stay there until the end of my master's, February 2023. Being in love with the energy of such a small, international, and historically & culturally important city, I want as many people as possible to experience it.
I live in a WG (shared flat) with 3 people (Two German boys and one Greek girl) l my second family and the coolest crew you could live with. Being a social worm (loving people) but still having time just for myself (loving loneliness) is an integral part of my being and can go to the extreme. However, it is possible to have both in the flat Trierer Straße (the best student street in Weimar, just sayin').
If I host you:
I always have plenty of things in my daily life (working, studying, Nadja and her 6482 art projects) and can not promise full engagement when hosting, but having a couch in my room and Nadja a bit during the day is more than enough for your Weimar trip.
If you host me:
When hosting me, I can promise you are going to have a proper Serbian flower experience. I do respect privacy, but wanna meet the people and experience something behind the place I am visiting. I drink coffee, do sports, drink beer, have a lot to share, and for everything else, it goes with the flow I guess :)
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I was impressed by the idea of cultural interchange, meeting people, and places as an unregular tourist. I am not a big fan of formal situations and I found Couchsurfing perfect for breaking our everyday comfort zone.

音乐、电影和书籍
Music:
I am an old retro trance fan, also being into crispy tech-trance. Besides, I do consume some jazz content and some pop. Mostly exploring and finding new ways to feed my musical hunger. :)
Books:
Into the realistic fantasy of Murakami, the social fiction of Bulgakov, and some emerging poets.
Films:
I fell in love with the colors of Wim Wenders and the visual composition as well as the stories of Wong Kar Wei. But, let's start with the recommendation - "the Constitution" by Ratko Garlic.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I hitchhiked in the middle of nowhere in Hungary and while crying to find the roof, I decided not to and switched my mindset to the fearless mode.
Once I loved somebody so much on the island Evia, in Greece.
Kaying in the Nile and building a theater stage in Baden Wütenberg.
And recently fulfilled heart of mine - I was drawing and played soccer for 3 weeks with the children of New Gourna Village in Egypt.
教,学,和分享
I can help with the Slavic languages, English, and a bit of German. Besides this, some creative writing, haiku, long discussions about random topics I am interested in, and crafts are always welcome at my table: from the flowers and jewelry to the Serbian cakes. We can do some improvised theater, talk about the migrant experience, or destroy the grumpiness in public spaces.
我可以与沙发主分享些什么
Most of the things I possess, my Serbian, floral energy, and some spontaneous happenings that we will figure out on the way :)
