PLEASE NOTE: I live in South Cyprus, so if you enter from the North it’s very likely you won’t be allowed to pass to the South (you only have chances if you have a passport from a country within the European Union). I get way too many request from people who won’t even be able to get to my house- so please check that before messaging!

I am from Cyprus- a small island in the Mediterranean- and like many people here I have the constant urge to move, travel and explore, to connect with people, nature and cities, to make the most out of everything I experience. I believe in human rights, protecting our planet and our fellow creatures, and I am always interested to learn about other cultures. I have been travelling a lot in the past 3 years, especially around Latin America. I studied film at university, and work as a documentary filmmaker, editor and photographer, based in Cyprus.

My favourite travel experiences were always those staying with people, and getting to know a place through their perspective. I am really flexible, easy-going and respectful, and happy to adapt to your schedule and energy :)

Soy de Chipre, una pequeña isla en el Mediterráneo, y como muchas personas aquí, tengo una necesidad constante de moverme, viajar y explorar, de conectar con personas, la naturaleza y las ciudades, y de vivir el máximo . Creo en los derechos humanos, en proteger nuestro planeta y a las demás criaturas que lo habitan, y siempre me interesa aprender sobre otras culturas. He estado viajando mucho en los últimos tres años, especialmente por América Latina. Estudié cine en la universidad y trabajo como realizadora de documentales, editora y fotógrafa, con base en Chipre.

Mis experiencias de viaje favoritas siempre han sido aquellas en las que me quedo con personas locales y conozco un lugar a través de su perspectiva. Soy muy flexible, relajada y respetuosa, y puedo adaptarme a tus planes y energía :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Mainly to meet lovely people, make local friends while travelling, to show you around if you are in Cyprus and want to meet with locals, to go on adventures together and explore, and to really dive in a culture when I'm travelling by meeting and staying with locals. I like to travel slow and sustainably.

In my past trips I've been using Couchsurfing and Host a Sister a lot, and honestly had the best experiences!
If I am at home and not out travelling, I can show you around my city, Nicosia :)

Just crossed the whole Central America by land, mainly hitchhiking, camping and staying with locals :)

Share travel stories, for sure!
Can teach you a bit of my language, Greek, cook traditional food, and talk to you about the complex but interesting history of Cyprus- I am sure you've probably never met a person from Cyprus before!

Also can share photography skills and discuss everything about creativity.
