ABOUT ME

Doing some backpacking at the age of 20, twelve years ago I started an old german tradition:
We, the so called journeyman, have to travel for at least 3 years. At this time we are not allowed to go back home closer than 50km to our hometown and have to wear an old suit from around +-1850 AD
It's rooting back the the old cathedral workshops from the Gothic Era.
3.5 years later hitchhikeing through Germany and several other countries, I got a bit tired from traveling. So after that I spent one more year working at York cathedral, wich I knew already from the previous journey.
Now I´m back home in
Regensburg/Germany
Working at our great cathedral there. When ever I find some spare weeks of work, I go on tour again with a sad eye been such short time...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Almost nothing so far...
I really like the idea, thats why I joined quit a while ago. But because of my spontaneous travel style on my previous journey I never really got to use it properly...
...I have showen a kind Russian from Moskau round York and the cathedral, enjoying it very much!
