Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to Couchsurfing but I've always enjoyed hosting a lot of people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted by good people around the world. It was always great, even when it was just a short meeting or chat. Arriving somewhere and immediately having a way in to a culture which is usually blocked off - this is the power of couchsurfing.

Interests

Cheese, wine, ice coffee (not too sweet), the Jerusalem Cinematheque, beer after work, stripy T-shirts, traveling,reading (usually prose, but i enjoy any kind of writing: poetry, journalism, comics...), theatre, mostly fringe, puppet and shadow theatres. culture criticism, and more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up a member of the Jerusalem Cinematheque, and worked in a cinema for many years, and so i got to watch a lot of films. This is just a partial list of film directors whose films I watched recently and loved:
per fly, theo angelopoulos, Ksistof Kislovski, bergman, hal hartley, truffaut, uri zohar, thirst by taufik abu wael...

clarisse lispector, camus, baudelaire, jean genet, kenaz, shimony, be'er, shabtai...

i love music: classic, avantgarde,jazz, rock, electronic, arabic. i like small concerts.
