About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To bring happiness and a good life to me and others
ABOUT ME
Really relaxed and friendly person, take things as they appear, easy companion. A bit distrait also, forgetting small things and details. Likes having fun and frolicking around. And I am an skilled artist, making a living off my art. Curious and a bit philosophic...my greenlandic heritage also means studying the old mythologic and shamanic beliefs to being able to illustrate them as an artist...
PHILOSOPHY
Living healthy, joyful, everything we do should be healing! I can't live up to that, but its good to remember and becoming more aware.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A very good opportunity to being hosted on rare occasions, and hosting too mostly during wintertime. My time isn't to travel as much as I want to.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have for now had 5 wonderful CS-guests. I'm used to having guests...and find it very cosy and love the conversations. Used to travelling also, though mostly because of my exhibitions/commissions
Interests
My worktime and freetime interweave, also when travelling, I like to see art in every form and style. When travelling, I do sketching and studies, except when travelling with my children...and of course likes photographying, both at home and during holidays...seeing motives everywhere, everytime.
Also do a bit yoga, swimming, and sailing. Learning healing skills.
A bit philosophical maybe...are more busy professionally these years, so not so much time left for reading, which is sad...

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh so many books I enjoy! So much music I hear throughout the day!
Hear a great variety of music, from all over the world, mostly in the relaxing/lively feeling. And films: like films with a warm, wise human-loving feeling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I come near waterfalls I'm truely awestruck.
Sailing makes my day! Expecially sailing viking ships, I did that regularly from 1982 to 1997, and some few times after those years. The summer 2018 my family and I bought a wooden sailing boat: a Limfjordssjægt (a dinghy, a smakke), sailing around the Archipelago of southern Funen, loving it.
Seeing the big Icefiord in Ilulissat in Northern Greenland left me awestruck, even though I was used to seeing Icebergs in southern Greenland, where I grew up.
And the northern lights/Auroras are spectacular too.
Teach, Learn, Share
Maybe, in fact, just curious about learning and combining various knowledge.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As an artist by profession, doing art courses, and loving it,
I can show you some of my art, maybe teach drawing...
Can introduce the Greenlandic ways to you, cultural stuff, geography etc. Just everyday knowlegde from growing up in South Greenland, and returning many times as artist.
Love going to art places, museums...
Walked a lot and danced occasionally before my knee got bad, buts its better now, can still walk; can do citywalks though...miss dancing...
