Hello! I know that my profile says that I am 25, but I am not! I am 20 years old. I'm not too good with "about me's" so here are the basics about me! I reside in California and am currently in school, studying to be a doctor. I try to travel as much as my student debt lets me hahah. I speak Japanese and am trying (but failing) to teach myself French!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because beginning in September, I will be studying abroad in France with a friend and we wanted to visit neighboring countries on our off time! We though, "what better way to get to know a country than to meet with locals?" So here I am.

Music: I love The Strokes, The Killers, Oh Wonder, Kate Nash, Childish Gambino... Most everything... Not a big fan of country music though.

Movies: I love anything Studio Ghibli, Donnie Darko, Blue is the Warmest Color, and others

Books: My favorite genre of books are usually fiction, have a dystopian twist, or has something to do with psychology or disorders. I love Choke by Chuck Palahniuk though! It's one of my favorites.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One amazing thing I've done is... When I visited Italy, I took a day trip to Paris spontaneously and spent about 8 hours there before flying back. It was the craziest thing I've done. We woke up at 5 am, bought our tickets, left at 7 am, and spent a little bit of our time in France! That's something that I'll never forget.

This is sort of a tough question since I can't quite cook and I'm not much of a comedian...I can share with hosts my love for adventure though. If they had time, I would be most definitely down to go around the city and what not!
