Hi! My name is Aleksandra, I was born in Russia, lived in the Czech Republic and Georgia, and recently moved to the north of Spain — to Asturias, where the nature is incredibly beautiful. I have a degree in journalism, but for the past 4 years, I’ve been working as a psychologist, so I’m very interested in everything related to people.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

In the past, I actively used Couchsurfing when my friend and I hitchhiked through 15 European countries in a row — it was an amazing trip that greatly influenced my personality. I saw how diverse the world can be and realized that people from different parts of the world can find each other fascinating and form warm relationships. I hope that now I can also make connections that I’ll want to keep close to my heart :)

Interesses

I walk a lot, love hiking, enjoy road cycling. I’m an animal lover, and currently I live with a cat, though I used to have a rescue dog. I’m a rather calm person and spend a lot of time alone — working, studying psychology, reading books and learning to crochet. But I also love to chat — to listen to other people’s stories and share my own.
