Music: there's Janis Joplin, one of my favourites since I was young; but now, I'd say Tool (Wings for Marie), Isis, Bersuit Vergarabat, Buried Inside, Goran Bregovic, Adrià Puntí...
Books: many of argentine female writers, Javier Marías and Almudena Grandes
