Dear all,

I´m Fernando, a Spanish guy who lives at Leeds (UK) for career reasons. Currently, I´m participating in an Integrated MSc/PhD in Bioenergy at University of Leeds. Where I´m not in the office or the lab, I love doing sport (rugby is my favourite one) or having a drink with different people. Besides, to travel around the UK or Spain depending on the availability and workloads.

Meeting new people and places is one the things that I love most in this life, wherever and whenever that happens. I'm an easygoing person who like to share his experiences with others and to discover new cultures and languages.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The reason why I´m in couchsurfing is to meet people and places in a deeper way that in a common basis. Furthermore, if there is the chance, I like to accommodate various people of other ethnics, countries and cultures. For me, it´s really important to know them to have a broader and wider perspective of the habitants of this planet.

兴趣

In my spare time, I enjoy doing sports such as rugby or basketball however I can also play football as well as going to the gym quite frequently. Plus, watching series is another big hobby for me, currently I´m watching the second season of Fargo.

The solidarity and hospitality of Gambian people wherever I went around the country and their fascination to learn and get to know about Spain and myself.

教，学，和分享

I´m able to teach several software such as Microsoft Office Suite, LaTex, Mendeley and so many other related to the academic background. In addition, to show some useful apps to travel around in a more conformable and cheaper way.

By contrast, I´m constantly learning and informing myself about the new insights and coming technologies about Bioenergy as well as Portuguese in language terms. Eu falo um pouco de portugues, pero eu tenho que melhorar muito !!!

To conclude, I love to share my experiences about the globe and explaining cultural and idiomatic things about Spain in general or Catalonia more concretely.
