I'm a bit quiet at first impression, but if you ask me questions I'll talk more. I enjoy getting to know people better, seeing things from their point of view and hearing about their experiences. It helps me learn more about the world, perspectives and help me think of things differently. I enjoy learning from others.

I'm a kid at heart, especially when it comes to sweets and playgrounds, they're things I love and try to experience each place I go to. I really love eating and food too, but I'm always craving dessert and coffee.

I enjoy getting to know the local culture, so taking a step outside of those tourist locations to see what life is really like somewhere else in the world. Seeing the cultural differences and exchanging with others. I really love Chicago (where I'm from) and can share more about why!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was a nomad backpacking around Europe. Something I missed living abroad was having a place to come back to home base and talk to someone about my day, or have someone to travel around together.

Interests

Doing relaxing/chill things typically, like checking out cafes to get coffee and dessert. And exploring new places, wandering (and getting lost with an unreliable gps) around to find hidden gems of stores.

Making art for my friends, typically gifts and paper crafts, so that I can show them how much I care for them and that they are loved. I try my best to make the gift oriented to the things they like and to their character, making each gift different.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Anything that sounds chill or alternative, usually causing me to accidentally fall asleep while I do work. Artists that I can never stop listening to is Broods, Oh Wonder, PHOX, Us the Duo and Local Natives.

Books:
I read a lot of Manga, Japanese comics, growing up and something close to my heart. It helped me broaden my view of the world a bit while appreciating the different art styles and learning about different topics and culture through it.

Movies:
I love comedy movies and shows, like Community, Brooklyn Nine Nine, The Office, Parks and Recreation and looking for more shows to watch :)
