Hello! I am an exchange student at Osaka University studying Japanese language and culture. I am from California, USA, where I study Environmental Science at UC Berkeley.

Interests

I am very interested in anything traditional, especially traditional performing arts. I do lion dancing, play Chinese Violin and Koto, and do Japanese Archery (弓道). I have also done Vietnamese Hat Dance.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is life! I love to listen to music, sing, and play instruments. I listen to almost any kind of music. I especially like instrumental music, including classical and movie background music. I also really like traditional music (especially Chinese, Celtic, Vietnamese, and Mongolian). I play the Chinese Violin (Er-hu, 二胡) and the Japanese Zither (Koto, 琴).
