ABOUT ME

I can be a singer, actor, reader of novels, competitive board game player, good cook, map reader, coffee and tea drinker....

I live in Richmond, VA in a cohousing community and am retired.
I have a variety of small jobs to help with travel costs.

I have not surfed or hosted for about 10 years so eager to be able once again.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had my first couch surfing in Asheville NC in 08- very satisfying. Stayed on some futons the summer 09 and also met some daytime surfers in helsinki and n. ireland. Have hosted about 20 couchsurfers these 10 years.

兴趣

I sing in a womens choir and I worked in a community with adults with intellectual disabilities for 27 years. It's on a 550 acre farm.

Since retiring I have been to New Zealand with a friend, to Germany to visit friends and to N. Ireland to do some volunteer work.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Spent 3 months in Sierra Leone in 1981
Had 24 hour IRA guard in my house in Belfast in 1977
Raised a kid single handedly - as he is now 32 and doing well, I think I succeeded.
Had a 50th birthday party in Ireland with 26 friends from 12 countries and my 60th party on Lake Balaton, Hungary.
Performed in the Vagina Monologues in 2012.
