ABOUT ME

I am a divorced woman, age 69, who immigrated to Cuenca, Ecuador in Sept 2011 after I retired from a university in Southern California, USA. I love, love, love to travel & learn about other countries & cultures. I served for 3 years (1997-2000) in the U.S. Peace Corps in Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia, sailed around the world with Semester at Sea in 2008, and have traveled to many additional places. I am just beginning to explore South America, learn Spanish and I look forward to making many new friends. I am open minded, honest, respectful and love learning and exploring.

Interests

Since retiring and moving to Ecuador, I read, paint, take Spanish and cooking classes, attend symphonies, go to museums, take tours of Ecuadorian villages, bird watch, attend art show and exhibits and enjoy my new retired lifestyle.
