Overview
About Me
I was born and brought up in India and currently living in Reading, UK. I consider myself to be a global citizen as I believe our nationality and citizenship are decided by where we were born, not something that we had control over.
I am genuinely curious about the intersection of humanity, exponential technologies, and the future. I can talk for hours together on these topics and would be glad to have a discussion around these topics.
I've visited London, New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago among other places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined CS many years ago - but I haven't been as active in this community as I would have liked to be.
I am looking forward to meeting new people with different backgrounds and interests than me and hopefully can be part of building a life-long friendship.

Music, Movies, and Books
A huge fan of Yuval Noah Harari. Have read all his books - Sapiens, Homo Deus, 21 lessons for the 21st century, Some of the books I recently read are - The Price of Tomorrow, The Sovereign Individual, Bitcoin Standard, The Future is Faster than you think, Atomic Habits, Bold, Digital Gold
I am currently reading the book "The Singularity is Near" by Ray Kurzweil
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I talked to random strangers in Manhattan, NYC about crypto/bitcoin on New Year's eve of 2017
(an article I wrote at that time can be found here - https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/new-york-city-bitcoin-year-2018-nanda-kumar-nainadurai/)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach about data and analytics space - tools, technology, current landscape as I work very closely with business users.
I am always interested to learn more about what else life can offer - keen to learn surfing, skating, French and Spanish at some point in time.
I am passionate about crypto and the socio-economic changes it could bring to everyone. Always happy to have a discussion on this topic on any day and time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversations - I am genuinely curious - so I can assure you that our conversations will have a variety and I can bring something to the table.
Food - I have been recently learning to cook - so I am happy to cook a spicy south Indian dish if you would be delighted with spices (I can make it less spicy if you aren't too much into spices).
Easy-going - I respect you and your space. So, I will do my best to ensure you have a good time while hosting me.
