Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love languages but where i live everyone only speaks Thai . I know this world is big and has many languages. I wanna travel the world but because of my study , i cant do it right now. So im on Couchsurfing because i wanna meet new friends and open to see how this world is going on. People who live in another side of the world or other countries, they will be like the people on youtube or the movies i saw? Are they really nice like someone said on the internet? Or is it true that they are enigmatic? Yeah you cant judge them if you havent talked to them.
