ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm really friendly, outgoing and laidback - and lots of fun but with a very sarcastic humour! - and I LOVE to travel and meet new people and get to know a different culture and new languages :)

I'm very energetic and I love to go off the beaten track when I'm traveling, not do all the tourist attractions but rather go with some locals somewhere new. I write travel info about Iceland on www.guidetoiceland.is

I'm an actress so I'm pretty much constantly unemployed and never have any money, but the money I have I'll spend on travels, parties, activities and food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I can I'll host people... but I don't tend to stay in the same place for a long time. I'm more of a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've only couchsurfed in Greece and Dubai (except for all the sofas I've slept on which hasn't been through CS). I met lots of great couchsurfers in Greece and found out about the CS community - and stayed with a great guy in Dubai in 2014 :)

Interests

I studied European Theatre and am now a 'struggling actress'. I love all sorts of dance and music - so I spend a lot of my time in theatres, art events, cinemas and in dance workshops.

I learned to dance tango in Buenos Aires and wherever I go I try to check out the tango scene.

I also LOVE food - and try to work it off by doing some sports, such as sky-diving, river rafting, diving, hiking, climbing, snowboarding, skiing... and by dancing the nights away. Occasionally I can sit still long enough to read a book and sip on a glass of red wine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking around South America for 7 months was fantastic - holding a wild tarantula in the Brazilian Amazon, eating steaks and drinking wine and dancing tango in Argentina, hiking Machu Picchu in Peru and biking the Death Road in Bolivia f.ex.

Hiking the volcano "Eyjafjallajökull" in Iceland when it was erupting and watching lava flow and spit in every direction with the Northern Lights shining brightly above...

Learning to dive in the stunning coral reefs in Thailand.

Living in Barcelona for a whole summer and getting used to the 'easy' lifestyle, meeting new friends everyday and practically living on the beach... and so much more! :)
