CURRENT MISSION

To find couches to surf in Memphis, TN/Savannah, GA/Washington DC/Chicago, IL during my road trip when my exchange at the University of Missouri is over.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 year old student studying American Studies and the University of Manchester. I am originally from Brighton but currently living in the United States on an exchange programme. I have a lot of love for both my home town and my adopted home town of Manchester and very much look forward to showing travellers the 'secrets' of both these cities once my travelling is done. I am outgoing and have a habit for terrible jokes. I believe that I am considerate and caring and there is nothing I love more than the pub on a sunday afternoon surrounded by excellent friends.

Looking for couches to surf in the US, happy to repay the favour with a bed at my Manchester home or my parents house in Brighton.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am yet to experience! Me and my friend Luke have had offers of couches in Memphis and are very much looking forward to starting our adventure.

good food, good music (of a varying array), good writing, newspapers, sociology, discussion, live music and theatre, the pub, the weekend, education, the countryside (the peak and lake districts in Northern England cannot be beat), American politics, British scandal, characters (for example a politics lecturer who would not be caught dead in anything but a Hawaiian shirt), travelling, friends, surprising myself and others.

An extremely uncomfortable 4am ride on the back of a pick up truck up a mountain in Mexico to watch thousands parrots rise from a cave as the sun rose that made the bruises all worth it.

Waking up in Joshua Tree National park to see the desert for the first time (we had arrived in the dark the night before)

A beautiful walk in the Peak District with one of my best friends to clear our heads during a stressful time

I want to show Surfers in Manchester the excellent Syrian restaurant round the corner from my house, the Northern Quarter, the unbeatable music and club scene.
