ABOUT ME

I talk very fast, love rambling conversations with a warm mug of tea. I think hammocks and a cold glass of white wine can solve any problem, and that bacon and avocado aren't far behind. I always, always have a song stuck in my head, and I won't hesitate to sing it out loud. I want to see and go everywhere in this beautiful crazy world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing was a lucky whim: I signed up for the site that day because I was desperate for a couch in Providence ( I know now that I got pretty lucky with that!)
Every other experience I've had-- surfing, traveling, even a little hosting-- has been fantastic :) Pretty much everyone I've met has been a wonderful, adventurous human, and every host and local has been so generous with sharing their city's secrets. I'm also always inspired by travelers' stories- I fully credit CSers with showing me the ways of hitchhiking!

Drawing, watercolors, (good) beer, new foods + old favorite foods, cooking, rooftop stargazing, reading + re-reading until the book falls apart, everything about the ocean, hiking, riding trains, singing the great pop songs of the 2000s, laughing

Sliding down desert sand dunes into the Caribbean sea on Colombia's coast, watching baby sea turtles hatch in Sri Lanka, doing the Adam's Peak pilgrimage at sunrise, having a rescued baby monkey nap on my shoulders while working in the Amazon...clearly I had trouble choosing just one, but there have been so many things I've been so lucky to experience!
