Overview
About Me
I'm Naomi, cheerful, open and sometimes a bit bubbly. On the other hand I can be really calm, enjoying quiet and slow moments (preferably in the mountains).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I just love to talk to people, see what they everyday life is like in the different places.
Interests
I love being in the nature, no matter if on my feet, my bike, my ski, on a rope on the rocks or just with a hammock in between some trees -maybe with a good book.
I die for good chocolate, amazing morning coffee on the meadow in front of our house, tasty wine, various types of tee and I love to cook. Trying new recipes and spices from foreign countries is always a pleasure to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being alive is pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always interested in different ideas of health, other concepts of healing and your way to stay healthy. I want to know about the different health systems in the different countries and the different ways doctors work. I can share a basic understanding of western medicine with you but also some insights on complementary concepts of medicine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I definitely can share (no matter what the day looks like) is a big müsli in the morning...
Until I return back to Freiburg I "just" have the rough Alps in front of the door instead of soft forest hills - other than that it's pretty the same:
The beautiful landscape of the Black Forest right in front of my door, the beautiful city of Freiburg with all my favourite cafes and places to read and relax. Vivid places, sometimes with a little concert, a lecture, a discussion, a film in the evening.
My everyday life with my flat mates and me, often cooking together or going for a little hike in the forest. The good tasting water of the Black Forest, simply coming out of the tap. Maybe a weekend out for climbing, hiking or skiing depending on the time of the year. Or just a evening in the climbing gym - and from time to time an amazing tasting beer afterwards.
