The first day I arrived in Honolulu with my sister, I told the immigration officer: I live here but I've never been here before. At 12 years old, having just got off an 18 hour flight from Thailand it seemed to make sense. But somehow, the sentence still rings true. Currently am on a mission to experience the new and time after time, whatever is true feels familiar.
