I'm an open-minded, easy-going Aussie who enjoys socialising, travelling and learning new things.
I'm in my late 20's and have travelled quite a bit through Asia, Europe and some of the Americas. I love independant travel and going wherever the wind takes me, seeking to experience places rather than just seeing them.
i particularly love learning the culture and history of people and places.
I have a background in hospitality as well as finance, having worked in the corporate world for a large chunk of my adult life before catching the travel bug.
I've recently gone back to university and now studying environmental science and arts (media).
I'm clean & tidy, honest, love a good chat and respect people's space.

I'm new to couch surfing but I love to travel, and on a budget because it forces you 'off the beaten track'. Plus, the best part of travelling is the people you meet! Couch surfing provides the opportunity to meet great people, gain better local knowledge and really experience the true character of a place.
I like communities that share and want to get to know this one!

Along with travel, i love music, art, reading, writing, animals, cooking, hula-hooping, having a dance and outdoor adventures.
I'm involved in community radio and currently developing my skills in audio production and broadcasting.
I'm an environmentalist, as much as i can be, and love learning about / implementing sustainable practices.
I love good food and wine and always have to try the local dishes wherever i go.

I'm into all kinds of music but mostly rock, punk/alternative, blues, pop and dance music. I've been getting more into electronic music lately.
My all time favourite band is Foo Fighters.
My favourite movie is Waynes World.
I'm a huge book worm so don't really have a favourite but enjoy sci-fi and fantasy fiction, poetry, literature classics and the odd romantic drama.

I've been fortunate to have had some awesome experiences and it's hard to choose just one so here's my top 3:
Hiked to Annapurna base camp in Nepal.
Walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain for 37 days.
Went husky sledding through the wilderness in Finmark (Norway) and saw the northern lights.
