About Me

Hi! My name is Naoya from Japan. I'm currently working at an aid agency. I was born and raised in Tokyo. I spent most of my life there. It makes me a typical "Japanese"??
I always try to be active and challenge whatever I'm interested in. I like to hang out and spend time with friends (most of the time, just having a silly chat.)

Talking with people from different backgrounds is what I've been keen on. I believe it makes my life rich and colourful. That's why I've met the people from more than 30 countries in my life and that's why I decided to do the Couchsurfing😉

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to know a different culture, people and food, want to try local things that you usually don't do when you travel, want to share interesting things about Japan with you and hear your stories of life.

Interests

I like traveling. I've been to more than 10 countries around the world. From the small village with no electricity in Bali island, to the clamorous city of Las Vegas, I visited quite a few countries.
One of the things I enjoyed in those journeys was talking with local people. That is a big purpose of traveling for me!

I also like listening to music♪, drinking, eating local food, and playing&watching sports (huge fun of tennis, NBA and cycle road race)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying in the small local village of Bali with no water and gas supply.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share the culture of Japan and teach Japanese if you are interested. I am really interested in the language. Whenever I travel, I always try to speak in the local language. I'd appreciate if you teach me the basics😉

One more thing! I'm always struggling with cooking, so I'd really appreciate if you teach me good recipes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Japanese lesson, sharing my life in Japan, sushi cooking maybe?
