My current mission is to get back to Minneapolis so I can finish recording an album for Old Fashioned Records, but I want to have an excellent adventure on the way home.
Folks call me Naptime Nate. I'm a singer/songwriter. I write mostly folk music for adults. I absolutely LOVE performing for people. Music is my life. I enjoy traveling (obviously), meeting new people, fine scotch, dank beer, smoking cigarettes and herb, and camping. I love many things. I love new experiences. I especially love trying new food.
Live well, be free, be safe, and follow the golden rule.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I bring the joy of music where ever I go. I love to play music for people. I also don't mind doing some work for people who are kind enough to let me stay at their place. I'm willing to help out people who need it, because so many people have helped me in times of need. I do my best to follow the golden rule.
I've couchsurfed many-a-time. I've always had good experiences. I've come to realize that most people in this world are good people, especially if you're good to them.
Music, travel, food, wine, scotch, beer, women, sailing, horses, motorcycles, fishing, camping, meeting new people, hitch-hiking, rainbow gatherings, learning new things, and living life to it's fullest.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - almost anything, but I spend most of my time writing music.
Movies - I don't get to watch movies often, but I love westerns, kung-fu, and clever films such as Wrist-cutters: A Love Story, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and I Heart Huckabees, etc. I also love The Thin Man movies, and Casablanca.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to choose. I've hiked up mountains, gone white-water rafting, hitch-hiked coast to coast, rode freight trains, amongst countless other endevors. My life has been exciting and adventurous.
