I am a solo traveler, foodie, and sunset lover, living in Mumbai, India.

As a child, my love for traveling began on family holidays. Along with my Kutchi Indian family, I traveled to a new destination during school vacations. The memorable family tradition I looked forward to in the summers and around the “Diwali” holidays. We visited picturesque parts of India like Goa, Kashmir, and many more.

Then the ultimate Indian dream of securing professional degrees hijacked childhood vacations. Now education was a priority and traveling took a total backseat. I had even spent summertime studying and appearing for competitive professional exams, in addition to regular schooling. In due course, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant and gained a Master of Commerce degree. All the hard slog secured me a well-paying corporate job.

I crunched numbers as a Credit Analyst for a living. For over a decade that job was a balancing act of performing more than 100% and an intense desire to travel within the given three weeks of annual paid leaves. Yet with a challenging full-time job, I bossed 23 international trips visiting 31 countries. Needless to state the well-planned travels kept me super motivated at work!

In mid-2017, after working full time for over 18 years, or half my life, I took time off. With a plan to travel a lot! I traveled to seven new countries including Bhutan, Colombia, Ecuador, Myanmar, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam. I took a five-month-long trip around the globe, the longest of my life! And completed long pending dream of seeing all the New Seven Wonders of The World!
