About Me

CURRENT MISSION

student, tree hugger, bicyclist, boyfriend, tofu eater

ABOUT ME

I can be pretty irritable, easy to piss off, and easy ti piss off others. However, I totally empathize with wanting to see the world and not having a lot of $$$ for hotels and whatnot. I am easy to get along with as long as I can trust you and we communicate well. I know how hard it can be not to have a place to live/stay.

PHILOSOPHY

live and let live

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

if you need my couch, take it, just don't do anything that'll get me kicked out of my apartment or I'll cry like a little baby, and then say really mean (but incoherent and mostly stupid) things to you

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've crashed on friends couches here in ATL, one in Austin TX, a couch in Rochester, NY, I once lived on a couch in SF, and I've stayed on my brother's couch in Ithaca, NY and NYC and Long Island

Interests

bikes! not breaking the environment any more, biomedical research, sleeping, videogames

  • environment
  • cars

Music, Movies, and Books

music: hip hop (mostly underground and classic stuff), classic rock,
movies: donnie darko, pi, requiem for a dream, tommy boy, etc
books: sci fi, fantasy, poetry

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

swam in the dead sea (the salt burned my asshole)
explored an abandoned subway tunnel (Rochester, NY)
met the girl of my dreams (and managed to hang onto her)

Teach, Learn, Share

it's been said before, but you don't spread democracy at the barrel of a gun.
I don't care much for cars. I think they're bulky, smelly and bad for the environment. I know they're needed sometimes. I would be happier if more people rode bikes. I also love trains and mass transit.
I love graffiti, I wish more buildings had some good graf covering them. Not that gang shit, but beautiful pieces of artistry.
