I am a philosophy student, primarily interested in 19th-century German philosophy (especially Nietzsche). I am interested in discussing philosophy and literature.

PHILOSOPHY

To find truth. I don't believe everything is up to interpretation; I believe there is a wrong way and a right way, and I want to find the right way.

I enjoy listening to postrock like Mogwai and Explosions in the Sky.

I enjoy movies that explore psychological problems, self-cruelty, and self-discipline. My favorite directors are Ingmar Bergman, Michael Haneke, P.T. Anderson, Darren Aronofsky, and Akira Kurosawa.

Books I like to read include philosophical and psychological fiction and any psychologically astute philosophy. I also enjoy reading articles on neurology and cognitive science.
