About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live without regrets.

ABOUT ME

I'm a world traveling nerd photographer who has a terrible problem avoiding french fries at 2 in morning and waking up before 10am (that's why I'm self-employed). I love what I do and it definitely defines who I am, it makes my life unpredictable and the best days are the ones where I learn something new. I'm more interested in being real than nice, but you always know where I'm coming from, also a cynic and closet romantic.

PHILOSOPHY

"There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to CS so I'm excited to be a part of the community. I am happy to show people around my fabulous town of Portland, OR. There are so many amazing things to do here! I am also looking forward to spending time with other fellow CS folks in distant lands.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couchsurfing, so I'm excited to start having adventures.

Interests

Live music shows, eating out, dancing, reading, photography, having heated discussions where no one gets angry, being passionate about life, traveling, shopping at second hand shops, trying new things, scaring myself, being bold.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bull Durham, Shirley Valentine, Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott, any music I can dance to or work out too, plus the old standards...Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent six months in India documenting AIDS. I travelled all over the country, met amazing people and tried to bring their stories to life. It was a grueling, heart-wrenching experience and one of the most incredible things I have ever done in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

What can I teach...well I'm a professional photographer and so I am happy to talk shop and wax poetic about images.

What to I want to learn...everything and anything!
