Overview
About Me
I’m currently a PhD student in civil engineering at WSU. Originally from Iran but living here in United States. I have been always like I love traveling and seeing the world, always procrastinating. At this point I’m just doing it whenever there is a chance.
I love being in nature, new goal of mine is visiting as many as national parks as I can. I’m a city girl too. So always needs to find the balance, running from the hustle and bustle of the city to the tranquility of nature, and craving for all the city vibes after a while.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was a child one of my favorite things to do coming back from school was looking at the people from the school bus window and guess who they are and what are they thinking about just at the moment. This, I believe, grew up with me as I always enjoy listening to people and their stories. It’s like watching how every single one of us are experiencing this world ( like the elephant in a dark room). Surely I cannot have all the experience in my lifetime but I can listen to as many possibilities as exists for doing so.
Sooo when traveling instead of sitting alone in a hotel room and watch tv I prefer to share my time and stories with someone else as every one has their own very unique story to tell.
Interests
I love being outdoor. Being around cats and dogs make me happy and energized. I love driving on the roads, but not in a city. I love trying new foods and drinks.
My goal is to experience the life as much as I can so very open about new stuff.
I sometimes paints and do calligraphy. Not calling myself an artist at all. Also I do macro photography from time to time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a memory full of Farsi poems that I collected since my childhood. I love everything Paulo Coelho writes; I like his mindset and opinions about the world around us. I love Orhan Pamuk, the Turkish author, and also Elif Shafak. I enjoy reading Milan Kundera, Bohumil Hrabal, Ernesto Sabato, and you name it. I listen to almost everything and want to know other people’s favorite songs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two solo cross country road trips in this summer that I really enjoyed!
