Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My family and I mostly host people (when we have some place in our flat) or I show them the town and some places of interest (if I have some spare time)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not very much indeed... But I have some experience of hosting people at our family's home and showing our town, some places of interest. It's great to meet new people from different parts of our world, to learn new things, to listen to new languages, to taste new food ) And what is also wonderful, that we still communicate with some of them )

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Orthodox choral music, classical music, chello, Russian rock (DDT and some others), Japanese rock (OneOKRock, Remioromen), choral music in general... and maybe some other good music, but I don't know it yet... ;)
Books: of archpriest Andrey Tkachyov, archimandite Raphail Karelin, archimandrite Tikhon (Shevkunov), St. Nicholas Velimirovich and others of that kind, CS Lewis' "Narnia", V.G. Korolenko's "Blind Musician" and other good books.
Movies: Akira Kurosawa's "Red Beard", "Beautiful mind","The Island" of P. Lungin, "The Professor's Beloved Equation", "Around the World in 80 days" with Jackie Chan, "it's a wonderful life!", "the children of don Quixote", lots of good old Russian films, some Japanese and Korean films and other good films that make people think and become better.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
sang in a choir. imagine 5 people singing different melodies which all together come into harmony. the sound is really strong, like a flow, like a mountain river, then you suddenly become silent, and the other choir starts singing, then you again!.. that's really great!
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I can teach Russian, Ukrainian and English languages, tell a bit about my native country, town, and maybe cook some Russian and Ukrainian dishes )
I want to learn sign language (Russian and international), to sing (my dream is to sing in a choir), French language (because I started to learn it once) and one of my friends says that I should learn Greek language )
