About Me
Hi! ☺️ I’m Natalie, but I go by Nat. I'm an English language teacher and solo traveler who loves to explore, meet new people, and spread kindness and joy. I'm originally from the U.S., and I just finished my grant living and teaching English in Türkiye.
I'm open-minded, funny, and adventurous, and I have been told that I have the type of energy that make people feel good about themselves 🧚🏿♀️
I also vlog my experiences to document what it’s like living abroad.
So feel free to check out my IG and Tiktok: @SheGoesByNat
Let's meet! 💫
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to experience a place is through connecting with locals, swapping stories, and getting to know a city beyond just the tourist spots. Plus, I love the idea of making friends along the way!
I’m super chill, respectful, and easy to be around. Whether that means going out to explore together or just doing our own thing. If you like deep convos, random adventures, or just vibing, we’ll probably get along great!
Interests
-I love filming and vlogging my travels.
-Music is everything (R&B, Afrobeats, and anything that makes me move)
-Languages fascinate me (learning Turkish and Spanish right now!)
-Always down for exploring a new city or a spontaneous adventure
-I'm a kid at heart. So, Huge Marvel and Disney fan!
-I will absolutely dance or sing even if I’m terrible at it 😆
Music, Movies, and Books
R&B, Afrobeats, Turkish Pop

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first international solo trip to Bali, which sparked my interest in taking risk and solo-traveling.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you some of my vlogging and photography skills, my favorite dances, or even how to braid your hair. If you’re interested in educational technology, I can teach you the newest trends in EdTech, study or teach abroad opportunities. I can also help you create some engaging content, whether for social media, vlogs, or memories.
Learn: I want to learn about your hobbies, local traditions, and food. Also, some cultural traditions or hidden gems. Also, if you speak another language, I would love to pick up on some phrases.
Share: I would love to swap travel stories and share my experience living abroad as a Fulbrighter. From the culture shocks to unexpected friendships.
