About Me

🌍 World explorer with a free spirit and a rural heart
I’m a traveler passionate about discovering the diversity of the world—not just landscapes, but ways of thinking, living, and feeling. I love meeting open-minded people to share honest conversations, exchange experiences, and learn from one another with respect and authenticity.

🗺️ Traveling is how I make sense of life
Every new place connects me with a different part of myself. I’m driven by curiosity for cultures, traditions, flavors, sounds, and everything that makes us unique. But above all, I seek a deep connection with nature—mountains, oceans, hidden paths… that’s where I truly feel at home.

🎒 I love the roads less traveled
I prefer untouristy places, small towns, and spaces that preserve their essence. I love walking, exploring by motorbike, camping under the stars, or simply sitting in a quiet corner watching life go by.

🌱 From Colombia, with love
I come from a land full of natural beauty, history, and powerful music. I’m excited to share the best of my country with anyone who wants to see it beyond the stereotypes. If you ever pass through, I’d be happy to show you some magical corners.

🎶 Rock lover, creative soul, and keen observer
I’m a photographer, a fan of intense sounds like metal, and also of the silences that say a lot. I enjoy solitude just as much as a deep conversation with someone who vibes on a similar frequency.

💬 If you feel like we could share a piece of the road, a story, or just a cup of coffee while staring at the horizon, it’ll be a pleasure to meet you.

🌀 And an important detail…
I don’t snore (unless I’ve just climbed a mountain, rocked out at a festival, or wrestled with my backpack). If you bring good vibes, stories to tell, and maybe a map that doesn’t need Wi-Fi, we’ll get along just fine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because for me, traveling isn’t just about moving—it’s about connecting. I don’t want to experience countries only through maps or travel guides, but through the people who live there: their homes, their customs, their music, their food, and their stories.

I believe that sharing a roof, a cup of coffee, or an honest conversation can be more powerful than any five-star hotel. Couchsurfing feels like a beautiful and brave way to trust again and to remember that the world is still full of kind people.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎧 Music, movies and books
Music is my first language. It’s been with me for as long as I can remember—my refuge, my fuel, and the way I make sense of the world. Metal is my foundation, but I also enjoy classic rock, alternative, and sounds that truly have something to say—even if they have to scream to be heard. Bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Rammstein, Behemoth, Deep Purple, Massacre, Megadeth, or VITAM ET MORTEM always have a place in my playlists. But hey, I might still surprise you with something totally unexpected.

🎬 I’m drawn to films with soul: intense stories, broken characters, and landscapes that take my breath away. I often get lost in documentaries or movies that raise more questions than answers.

📚 I’m not a hardcore reader, but when a book grabs me, I devour it. I enjoy human stories—introspective, real or fantastical—as long as they make me feel something.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked to the summit of the highest mountain in my region… and not long after, I was in the front row at a metal festival in Europe. I’ve gone from walking through the misty Andes to getting (happily) lost in unknown villages, always with my camera in hand and a slightly broken backpack. I also helped defend a cultural festival in my hometown that fights for art and freedom in the face of prejudice… and yes, I lived to tell the tale.

Teach, Learn, Share

✨ I can teach:
Photography (especially nature, concert, or product photography), some basic editing, hiking routes in Colombia, how to make a proper cup of Colombian coffee, and how to pack a backpack like a pro without breaking your spine. I can also introduce you to the history of Colombian metal and grassroots festivals like Víboral Rock.

🌱 I want to learn:
Anything and everything—your language, local recipes, traditions, different worldviews, and any story that comes from a genuine place. I’m especially interested in sustainable ways of living and discovering off-the-beaten-path routes around the world.

🤝 I want to share:
Deep conversations (or comfortable silences), nature walks, powerful playlists, ideas, beautiful photos, and a life perspective that values simplicity, honesty, and what’s not always visible at first glance. I’m always happy to share the best of Colombia—its people, food, music, and landscapes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Opening the door to my space is a generous and conscious act. If you ever find yourself in my corner of the world, I’ll offer you what I value most: a cared-for space, a warm cup of coffee, and the chance to share in mutual respect.

I’m not a luxury host, but I do offer honest energy. I like to create a calm atmosphere—where we can talk without pressure or enjoy comfortable silence. If you’re passing through and appreciate simplicity, nearby nature, and genuine connections, maybe this could be your place for a while.
