About Me

I'm a student. Currently on Erasmus exchange. I'm curious about history and folk traditions. I danced Polish Folk Dances and would love to learn ones from different countries. If you know some can you teach me? :)
I love to eat and I eat a lot. I play the flute, do a little ballet, cook and bake when hungry, hike and wander around the world. When there isn't enough money for international travel, I'll pack my bag and go to the mountains. The wandering gives me the feeling of freedom from modernity and the excitement of the unknown. My treasure is my stories of places I've been to, things I've done and people I've met.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came here to meet people. To get to know them, learn from them, and share experiences, space, and food. Hopefully, soon enough I'll be able to host myself.
I hope to stay curious and brave to see as much as possible. I want to get rid of stereotypes that I encountered during my upbringing and for that I need help from other lovely, open-minded people.

Interests

I am in a transition from artistic sports into windsurfing, climbing and more extreme hiking. I hope to save enough money to buy myself windsurfing gear, and take a parachute or paragliding course.

Music, Movies, and Books

I carry music with me. I try to take my pipe on every adventure and I also sing during hikes (of course concerning other travellers and nature). I love folk music. I think it carries the history and will of the region it comes from. It is the easiest form to share the culture (right behind it is food :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my imagination, I did many extraordinary things but in reality, I am only human, who haven't seen much. If I were to say what I am the most proud of... It would be teaching gymnastics. The children that I thought were amazing, talented individuals and to receive their love and trust means the world to me. It gives me the courage to achieve more because the ones unable of deceit are believing in me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to be taught your traditional music, dances and cooking. I am interested in lace-making and embroidery. If you know something about these crafts please teach me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experience is in gymnastics but it translates to many skills. We can train together, make an assessment of your physical condition, and share our respective knowledge. I can help with muscle pain, rehabilitation after injuries or other medical conditions. I would also love to help around in day-to-day chores.

Countries I’ve Visited
