About Me
I've had a career in the fashion industry but finally made the break and decided to go on my own as a freelance writer, photographer, and filmmaker. I'm quiet and don't invite 'new' friends to places I'm a guest at. I highly value good manners as a house guest and respect my hosts. I LOVE to cook and learning to cook new things is a great way to bond and learn about each other. I'm drawn to authentic experiences that you normally wouldn't get back home and I like sharing stories and hearing them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a global citizen who loves meeting new people, learning new cultures and traditions and see the world through a local's perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm open to all types of music. I grew up dancing and music is ingrained in me from a young age. I've discovered great bands, genres, and styles by other people's interests. I just can't particularly stomach screaming type music, metal, and most rap but I'm open and respectful to others liking it.
As for favorite movies, it's also a bit across the spectrum. Ranging from Gladiator to Harry Potter to documentaries to stand up comedies. I hate horror films, honestly, I cannot watch or hear a horror film. I'll sleep with the light on for a week. No joke.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have done is have faith in people. Couchsurfing is allowing me to put faith back in people to have a truly one-of-a-kind experience and I hope that other people see it that way too.
Another thing I've done that has amazed me is I've gotten rid of 90% of what I had in when living in the U.S. to move to Germany (and still keeping it that way).
I learned how little I needed to be happy and now have the time and opportunity to travel the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with hosts a basket full of stories, good humor, good manners and etiquette. I love to cook and would be happy if given the opportunity to share my favorite dishes with my future Hosts as a way of saying 'thanks'. If possible, any tips from Hosts to share about their city, where to take great pictures, best street food, etc would be greatly appreciated but also if you can experience them with me would be great!
